SMS Messaging Policy

1. Program Description
PNDA AI Receptionist sends appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-up messages on behalf of local businesses that use the PNDA platform. Messages are sent from business-specific phone numbers managed through the PNDA system.
PNDA is a business-to-consumer messaging platform. Businesses subscribe to PNDA to automate their client communications. When a customer interacts with a PNDA-powered business (by calling, booking an appointment, or providing their phone number), they may receive SMS messages related to that interaction.
2. Opt-In and Consent
Customers opt in to receive SMS messages by voluntarily providing their phone number when:
- Booking an appointment over the phone with a PNDA AI receptionist
- Submitting a booking form on a business's website
- Providing their number during an inbound call for follow-up purposes
- Texting the business phone number to initiate a conversation
By providing a phone number through any of these methods, customers consent to receive transactional and informational SMS messages related to their appointment or inquiry. Consent is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
3. Message Types
Customers may receive the following types of SMS messages:
- Appointment confirmations: Sent after an appointment is booked, including the date, time, service, and location.
- Appointment reminders: Sent prior to a scheduled appointment to reduce no-shows (typically 24 hours and 1 hour before).
- Follow-up messages: Sent after an appointment or call to request feedback, provide aftercare instructions, or offer rebooking.
- Promotional offers: Sent with the customer's prior opt-in consent, including special offers, seasonal promotions, or loyalty rewards from the business.
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your appointment schedule and interactions with the business. Typical messaging patterns include:
- 1 confirmation message per appointment booked
- 1–2 reminder messages per upcoming appointment
- 1 follow-up message after an appointment or inquiry
- Promotional messages no more than 4 per month (if opted in)
You will never receive more than 10 messages per month from a single business through the PNDA platform unless you are actively engaged in a two-way SMS conversation.
5. Opt-Out Instructions
To stop receiving messages:
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from that business's messages.
Reply HELP to any message for assistance and support contact information.
After sending STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages from that business. You may opt back in at any time by texting START to the same number or by booking a new appointment.

6. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. PNDA does not charge customers for receiving SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may apply standard messaging and data fees. Check with your carrier for details about your messaging plan.
7. Supported Carriers
PNDA supports messaging to all major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most regional carriers. Coverage and delivery times may vary by carrier and location.
8. Carrier Disclaimer
Carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your mobile carrier and network conditions. PNDA is not responsible for messages that are not delivered due to carrier filtering, network outages, device incompatibility, or other factors outside our control.
9. Privacy
Phone numbers and message content are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers are used solely for delivering messages on behalf of the business you interacted with.
